Holes

I got three holes poked in me tonight. Rabies, Tetnus, and Hepititus A. I got them done at Passport Health in Beverly Hills. Anja went on Wednesday to the UCLA Student Medical Center. It is difficult to belay after the tetnus shot but no need not to climb!

Are those shots required or just suggested? My fiancee and I are going to Thailand next Dec/Jan for a honeymoon. Where are you two traveling in the country?

The shots aren't required, but we thought it wise to follow the CDC's recommendation: http://www.cdc.gov/travel/seasia.htm . In addition to the tetnus, hep A and rabies, we also got influenza and an oral typhoid vaccine, malaria pills and medication for treating traveller's diarreah. The rabies vaccine is only recommended if you stay longer than 1 month or tour caves. Better to be safe than sorry!

We're touring Bangkok, Chiang Mei, and Krabi/Phi Phi Don/Phucket(?)/Railey/Tonsai areas.
